Intimate Wedding at Historical Family Cottage on Keuka Lake, NY

We know it wasn’t the day you two originally planned for… but, we wholeheartedly agree this was the day you were ALWAYS supposed to have. It was perfect in every way.

When we think of one word that describes Kate & Dylan, what comes to mind is “perseverance.” They pursued each other and their marriage, regardless of the odds. From long distance to moving wedding venues… three times, you guys have TRULY been through it all together.

After first talking to Kate + Dylan, they decided they wanted to be married on Keuka Lake, a lake that meant a LOT to them (as Dylan’s family has a cottage on the lake). They chased venue after venue trying to find the proper lake view. After Esperanza Mansion’s closing & their attempting to find other alternatives, they realized the PERFECT lake view was the reason they wanted Keuka all along… the cottage.

Kate + Dylan got married on the perfect sunny day at their family’s cottage, along with their best “dog”, Beau. They were introduced into the wedding ceremony on a boat (decorated with BEAUTIFUL florals by the one & only Rebecca Foote), and danced the night away under a bistro lite dance floor on the edge of the water. The day was filled with jet ski adventures, a few “Romeo & Juliet” moments (as they were getting ready in neighboring houses), and a trip up the hill to a privately owned vineyard for lake view portraits.

So, we know this wasn’t the day you were expecting… but, we’ll say it again. It was the PERFECT day, and it was fulfilled the way it was always meant to be… surrounded by your closet friends & family at the cottage that made you fall in love with Keuka Lake.
