A NYC engagement in Central Park & DUMBO Brooklyn
We were so excited when Emily contacted us to travel to NYC with them to capture their engagement. Originally from the Fingerlakes, but engaged in NYC near Christmas last year, they wanted to capture their love story there.
NYC became a really special place for them, a place they would travel to together during the winter months and make Christmas memories, and this was their first time ever going there during the summer months.
Mark and I flew down the day before to get a feel for the places they wanted to see (since we always stay in Brooklyn when we go) and then we began the next day with them at the hotel they were staying at in Manhattan. We had some lunch before we ventured out on a full NYC adventure. From downtown to Central Park, to capture the iconic scenery there at the Bethesda Terrace, and under the bridge where Mike had proposed to Emily only a few months before. We were greeted by some snake wranglers, wove in and out of the crowd, and then taxi’d over the bridge to DUMBO Brooklyn so that we could hop on the carousel, and get that beautiful Manhattan skyline as the sun set behind it.
