Wedding in Pink at Premier Venue of the Finger Lakes, Crispin Hill
On a warm Saturday in August, these high school sweethearts said I do overlooking the lake they grew up on. They have been together for over 10 years and through so many ups and downs. As 2020 has presented many challenges for brides, it was a journey getting to their special day.
Some uncertainty about if, even more of how many would attend, but never faltering was their love for one another. The way that Aaron, settles and cares for Leah was such an amazing thing to watch over this last year. He take care of her in such a loving and selfless way. Aaron, a man that loves to build things built a home for them as one of the stepping stones of the life and legacy they are building together.
For their day, Leah took a lot of care and time in the tiniest details. Not one thing was missed as her theme of pink and rustic chic was sprinkled all over the beautiful venue. We couldn’t stop taking pictures and video as more and more was added throughout the day.
Even though some of their guest list couldn’t attend, the day was surrounded by so much love and care for the joining of these 2 families. It was a tad cloudy and there was a threat of a storm, but the skies stayed clear and it was a tad warm, but the sunshine was a welcome surprise. We had such a fun day with Leah + Aaron, from the groom sewing up a button onto his suit, how excited Aaron was about the drone, Leah’s first look with her dad that was joyous and tear filled, and the beaming smile these highschool sweethearts saw each other, and ending in the reception with a room full of tears when Leah danced with her dad.
We had been looking forward to your wedding day the minute we met you at your engagement session. Your sarcastic loving humor and kindness fit in with our often corny jokes. Thank you for allowing us to capture your day it was truly an honor to be apart of it.
