A Dreamy Adventure around Green Lakes State Park // Fingerlakes, NY
We met Kourtney + Joe in January of this year, they weren’t officially engaged, but knew that they were madly in love and were going to get married. A date was set, vendors were being chosen but no ring quite yet.
Joe had many great plans for the proposal, and then the world stopped just a few weeks later. Still Kourtney continued to get her nails done, waiting for the moment he would finally get on one knee and ask her to marry him. After realizing there wouldn’t be a normalcy again for a while his plans of proposing at their favorite restaurant surrounded by friends couldn’t happen he decided to go with the back up plan. (Wait till you see the beautiful ring below)
While planning their engagement, we knew we wanted to have an adventure. One of our favorite things is when a couple comes to us and asks us to do something totally out of the ordinary. A few ideas were thrown around, but when she showed us a picture of this dress, we knew that it needed to get in the water, so plans were made for an evening at Green Lakes, where we would venture around in the trails and then take to this crystal aqua water that was fitting with the gemstone on her finger.
Kourtney + Joe, thank you for putting your faith in us to capture these moments. Your love and devotion to one another is shown by how you walk together, hold each other, and constantly purse the other. We cannot wait to celebrate with you at your dreamy, (and will be snowy!!) Winter Wedding.
