Engagement Session around Fairport, NY
It has been a journey to get to this session, after 2 rescheduled ones due to Covid, and a possible rain storm we finally made it to a very warm evening in Fairport, where Hayden + Ryan live, and have blossomed their relationship. One of our favorite things on shoots is going to a place we’ve never been, and finding the most unique places. Can you tell that we shot behind a bowling alley and in the Paychex parking lot?

How did you two meet?
“We met when we were 15 and 16. We had a mutual best friend. We have known each other for 10 years. We did not begin dating until 2017. We have watched each other grow throughout the years from a distance. We have always liked each other it was just never good timing. But finally things aligned and we are together. What makes our story unique is we both knew each other as female and we both transitioned to male.. finally with us both happy in our own skin, we were able to be together. He truly is my soulmate.. We don’t know what we would do without one another.“
What are FIVE things about your fiance that you love about them?
Ryan: “He never gives up no matter what, His love for most animals, The way he makes me laugh, How strong he is but doesn’t realize it and how goofy he gets when he’s in a really good mood.”
Hayden: “He is compassionate when I need him the most. Strong when I can’t be. Funny whenever I need a good laugh (or a bad dad joke). Sweet, with all of the little gestures he does. And loving not just towards me but towards our little family <3”
Where do you see your relationship in 5 years?
Ryan: “A huge house, at least 2 dogs and at least 2 vacations a year!“
Hayden: “I see us both successful in our careers, with a loving family full of laughter. With our biggest dreams becoming a reality. Hopefully living down south somewhere. With our little fur babies.“
